Announcing a new Meetup for Dinner and Movie House Party (Singles Preferred)!
What: Picnic at the Bryant Park Film Festival and watch The Candidate When: August 11, 2008 5:00 PM Where: Click the link below to find out! Meetup Description: Hey all!!! Let's take over some prime real-estate in Midtown Manhattan and eat, drink and watch an amazing movie. The lawn opens at 5:00pm for blankets (no plastic tarps please) and picnicking. The films begin at dusk (typically between 8pm and 9pm). Bring some filling dinner food, tasty beverages and/or delicious desserts - oh, and don't forget to bring some blankets. There's a store a block away for wine, there's pizza around the corner, there's the Grand Central Market and always a 10-pack of sliders from White Castle. Please put in your RSVP comments what time you will be getting there, what you will be bringing and hopefully we can get some people there, including myself, at 5PM when they open the lawn up so we can claim enough space for everyone. If you have any questions, just send me a message. -Mike P.S. There's FREE Wi-Fi in the park, so there's NO excuse not to get there early and enjoy the fresh air. Movie description: The Candidate ( http://www.imdb.com/t... Robert Redford is the idealistic son of a famous politician who is talked into running, against all odds, for the U.S. Senate. Peter Boyle co-stars as the campaign manager intent on making the candidate more electable. Political satire at its finest. (1972) 109 Min. (Warner Bros.) Learn more here: http://movies.meetup.... |
