How is "Oldboy" a horror film??
Anyways, these are my favorites. The Descent Deliverance Rosemary's Baby High Tension(the french version, not the horrid english dub) Nosferatu(the remake) Evil Dead 2 Army of Darkness P.S: When "Drag Me To Hell" comes out on Dvd and blu-ray, please form a meetup for that. So far, that is the best film I've seen this year.  |

I'd also recommend "Inland Empire", "Eraserhead", "Blue Velvet", and "Mulholland Drive." All of them are created by David Lynch. I feel that he is a pure genius, and one of the great masters of both cinema and the horror genre. "Inland Empire" far more frightening then most of the horror films that I've seen.

I see there are others who really like The Descent - one of my favorites as well.
Also really like: The Orphanage The Shining The latest Friday the 13th (mostly because it was hilarious and gory!) Nightmare on Elm Street 3 The Birds |
