Introduction

I'm a frugal movie goer, so as movies become overpriced, I'm more selective in what I'm willing to take a chance on. But even a bad movie is better with friends...Uh, right?

What is your favorite movie genre (independent, foreign, action, horror, suspense, comedy, drama, spy, etc.)?

My taste in movies has changed. I used to love foreign & indie. Now I love to be on the edge of my proverbial seat either in a state of suspense or laughter. I love classics like Citizen Kane, Imitation of Life, Some Like it Hot, The Bad Seed.

What is your favorite type of event for socializing while viewing movies (private movie parties, public outdoor screenings, theater outings, etc.)?

Private indoor parties are cozy and outdoor / rooftop screenings are romantic. Well I don't think The Exorcist being shown in Bryant Park will be exciting in that way :^|
